Before you start...remember to always do your Civic DUTY! Yes...duty...it is 7th grade alas.
P.S. The quote on my desk comes from my favorite U.S. President: "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." -Abraham Lincoln
13 colonies and the British fought on the same side before, in the 6-18-5-14-3-8 and Indian War. Here are the facts, it led to more tax...and then more War.
This colonial propaganda told the King to get Bent! Back in 1215, the Magna 3-1-18-20-1 started ideas like LIMITED Government.
Like all propaganda, this is one-sided and has 2-9-1-19. It made British redcoats look like murderers, even though colonists started this riot.
Taxes, but NO VOTING! Even after protesting, the King kept taxing more and MORE! This eventually led to Revolutionary 23-1-18.
I'm not trying to be a PAINE, but it is "Common Sense," documents like Mayflower Compact and THIS are about
19-5-12-6 Government.
19-5-12-6 Government.
Colonists said, "No Monopoly on 20-5-1!" So in Boston they threw it all in the sea...tee hee.
Listen up it’s a fact, we don’t allow THIS today because of the King and the 17-21-1-18-20-5-18-ing act.
He kept taking our rights, leading to fights, so no more 13-15-14-archy! ABSOLUTEly!
This is a reference from Jay Z. After breaking up with the King, Washington would lead a 4-5-13-15-cracy!
I 4-5-3-12-1-18-5! It's time to be independent! The colonists wrote this breakup letter to tell the King what they meant.
The Founding Fathers formed a Band, and they said, "Let's Rock!" They DECLARED Natural Rights, inspired by 12-15-3-11-5.
They couldn't tax, no money for any army, how WEAK is our 1st NATION? 19-8-1-25 and his rebellion sunk the Articles of Confederation.
The first political parties argued over a Bill of 18-9-7-8-20-19, so Madison wrote the Federalist papers to end all these fights! It wasn't rough, checks and balances was enough!
This isn't Checks and Balances! NOT what Montesquieu would PREACH! But the President's limbs are not out of REACH! Congress can still do this...9-13-16-5-1-3-8.
First they get elected, but after THIS day, for a term of 6-15-21-18 years, they get to stay.
The President can carry out laws from Congress, but sometimes says NO! This power is called a Presidential 22-5-20-15 BRO!
Where did the founding fathers get their ideas? Montesquieu gave a FEW...Separation of Powers...3-8-5-3-11-19 and Balances TOO!
Can things really be equal if people are separated apart? 2-18-15-23-14 vs. Board of Education might give a fresh start.
You can't make a 12-1-23 to force someone NOT to be a racist anymore, but we did make a law that you couldn't stop different people from shopping at your store. That's a fact, the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
The courts 10-21-4-7-5 and interpret the laws, to keep the scales of justice EQUAL FOR ALL.
Does Equal Protection mean people can't be separated apart? Read 16-12-5-19-19-25 vs. Ferguson, but the decision might break your heart.
The lower courts got something from the constitution wrong you feel, the opinion of 9 reigns Supreme...Court for your last
1-16-16-5-1-12.
1-16-16-5-1-12.
You’re no fool, for democratic rule, we need to vote with just a majority, so we need to be careful of the rights of the
13-9-14-15-18-9-20-25.
13-9-14-15-18-9-20-25.
Don’t shed a tear, if they leave in two years, if you’re quiet as a mouse, you’ll hear all 435 vote in this 8-15-21-19-5.
The number of 8-15-21-19-5 seats per state, depends on how many people live there today, But every ten years that could change.
So the smaller states get an equal say in passing bills, every state gets 2...at 100 it fills, many of the President’s powers fall under their inspection, in the 19-5-14-1-20-5 every 6 years they’re up for election.
If I live in Florida, can I spend a Virginia bill? What a confusing way to do currency...it makes me ill. Luckily this can't happen anymore to you or me, Because only the US Congress can 3-15-9-14 money for the WHOLE country,
Americans have needs those are facts,
but you might think no one cares,
Remember that Congress can tax,
and promote the General 23-5-12-6-1-18-5.

An international organization is made of many nations. There are 193 friends, all trying for peace in the 21-14. (_nited _ations)
This poor lady sounded like a fool, she should have taken THIS obligation more seriously..."Such as," attending 19-3-8-15-15-12.
This is our student work wall! For most authentic assessments, students can CHOOSE one of several ways to express their understanding. One option is a political cartoon. Another is a poem or rap with evidence. Students can display their work for others to share here, along with a map of SEMINOLE COUNTY. This is our LOWEST level of community that our Milwee students ALL have in common. (not all live in the same city, and certainly not the same home!)
Montesquieu said no liberty if...
we don’t 19-5-16-1-18-1-20-5 the branches of government. They each have different powers and can limit each other, Congress, the President, and the Courts make a government like no other.

He’s killing his people in a Civil War, refugees fleeing by the millions more and more, to this type of rule we say no, this guy is a total 4-9-3-tator bro!
Rule by one...people have no rights, rule by none...constant chaos and fights, rule by few...just as bad for you as the rest, Democracy rules by 13-1-14-25...seems to be the best.
Unitary with a King took our rights which was scary,
Confederal was too weak with no taxing or military,
6-5-4-5-18-1-12 shares power just right, go UCF Knights!
Confederal was too weak with no taxing or military,
6-5-4-5-18-1-12 shares power just right, go UCF Knights!
Federal, State, and local governments...what can this poster report?? All have a branch of people to make laws, one with a leader to carry them out, and one for judging the laws in 3-15-21-18-20.
The 6-5-4-5-18-1-12 gov makes decisions at the top and by all must be followed, but who makes the rest of the rules? The States and local governments are allowed.
This poster was made by a student named Thuy-Linh Le,
She’s sharing with you because she always has lots to say,
The President said he calls all the shots,
But clearly he forgot,
With many Governors he almost started fights,
There’s the 10th amendment and 19-20-1-20-5-19 rights,
This schism clearly shows Federalism.

3-18-21-5-12.
How dare the government huff and puff and bulldoze your house down? They have to pay you fair compensation, and only the public can use this ground.
5-13-9-14-5-14-20 Domain.
5-13-9-14-5-14-20 Domain.
I have 5th amendment rights! 4-15-21-2-12-5 Jeopardy says I can't be tried for the same crime twice.
Should they have to tell him he doesn't have to self incriminate? Read about 13-9-18-1-14-4-1 vs. Arizona to discover his fate.
Did Tyler Haire, get treated unfair? Another minor was accused, but of a minor offense, so who is at fault? The case is ...
in Re 7-1-21-12-20.
in Re 7-1-21-12-20.
Amendment 1...it doesn't matter which one you worship, or even none! This freedom of course is 18-5-12-9-7-9-15-14. If you're passionate about faith then don't feel defeated, notice they all say to treat others the way you want to be treated.
A PROCESS is 4-21-5, before the government takes your freedoms from you!
What if they didn't commit the crime? Should they do the time? The accused here is NEEDY, for a trial that is...19-16-5-5-4-25.
The Pilgrims came to worship and breathe free, millions more come from across the sea, our Constitution says of all of these are treated equal which is fun, the freedom of course is 18-5-12-9-7-9-15-14.
Safety or freedom? The government needs a reason to see, a warrant from a judge is needed to violate your 16-18-9-22-1-3-25.
Today the 3rd amendment says my friend…no 17-21-1-18-20-5-18-ing of soldiers because of what the King did way back then.
The King put troops in Boston and the people were mad,
Colonists were shot after the protests went bad,
The soldiers were still given a fair 20-18-9-1-12,
Those rights have never gone out of style,
But the King took away these rights,
Even after his soldiers were given a fair court fight

Political 23-1-20-3-8-dogs, freedoms of speech and press are their tools, mass media reports when government breaks the rules.
American democracy, we should all be in awe, U.S. v. 14-9-24-15-14 clarified that EVERYONE must follow the rule of law.
The government has a ton of laws for you to follow, but you have a ton of rights so don't fear. 3-9-22-9-3-19 is the study of rights and responsibilities...you learn this ALL YEAR!!
Her friends brothers were being drafted at 18 in a controversial war, but couldn’t vote for Congress that sent them till 21...she said no more! She protested with an Armband of peace, was suspended, so sued her school as the tide was turning,
20-9-14-11-5-18 v. Des Moines says your rights can’t be limited at school unless it caused a distraction to learning.
20-9-14-11-5-18 v. Des Moines says your rights can’t be limited at school unless it caused a distraction to learning.
In a court of law, you might need THIS to help you win a fight. But...7-9-4-5-15-14 didn't get one vs. Wainwright.
Did the founding fathers think this right should have so much ammunition? Mass shootings was never the mission. Does this right protect us or do too much harm? The amendment of course is the right to bear 1-18-13-19.
2nd amendment says you have a right to defend, but 10th amendment says states have rights too...the debate never ends. The U.S. Constitution doesn't say how to educate so don't be a fool. Its up to the 19-20-1-20-5-19 to determine rules about who gets guns in school.
A 3-9-22-9-12 dispute over THIS amount. A type of law and amendment 7...try and keep count.
At Lexington and Concord, we made the British redcoats run, they tried to take THIS away, but we have the right to a 7-21-14.
Find a passion or “interest” and join a group,
Use your 1st amendment freedoms to help them too,
Protest, assemble, petition, and community service,
We do this for the laws we want…our elected leaders heard us,
But interest groups also lobby for money and use a 16-1-3,
Donate to their candidate’s election campaign…you got their back,
It can pay for propaganda…like political ads

Left or Right? Let’s not fight about what’s right, but we may have some different beliefs you and me, if we join a different political 16-1-18-20-25.
In other parts of the world, people would die to determine their fate, Jefferson said we only have a majority rule of those who participate...so 22-15-20-5!
Democrat or Republican could be your pick, but 42% of Americans are independent and think about a
20-8-9-18-4 party candidate.
Should the national government be light or be hearty? This will depend on the political 16-1-18-20-25.
Hitler's hatred for millions...HOW could Germans have missed? NO knowledge of politics, propaganda or 2-9-1-19. They didn't care and were fools! Look who ended up making the RULES!
We the people rule, and we can tell our Congress to 9-13-16-5-1-3-8 a fool...for high crimes and misdemeanors.
When the founding fathers started a democracy it was a gamble, they reassured that "We the People" would rule and put the Government's GOALS in a 16-18-5-amble.
Who will be the Chief 5-24-5-3-utive to carry out the laws? In November we will see... This President said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what YOU can do for your country."
They marched to DC, to protest for equality, MLK used his freedom of speech, as thousands used their freedom of
1-19-19-5-13-2-12-25.
What right and responsibility is this? It's not too hard, you can see its Mr. Dalesandro's 22-15-20-5-18 registration card.
Congress declares war and raises an army, the last time they had to 19-5-12-5-3-20 you or me, was Vietnam War in about 1973.
10th amendment makes it so States can run, whatever isn’t in the US Constitution, for better or worse this means they run, the laws of how counties conduct an 5-12-5-3-20-9-15-14.

It's an obligation to follow the laws so don't FAIL, if you don't do this 4-21-20-25, you may end up in JAIL.
|
You have duties at the federal, state, and local levels as well, if the 3-15-21-14-20-25 needs you for jury duty, this is how you can tell.
“We have a responsibility. This is a remarkable thing about democracy…That we are notified by mail to come down to this place and decide on the guilt or innocence of a man we have not known before. We have nothing to gain or lose by our verdict. This is one of the reasons why we are strong. We should not make it a personal thing.” -Juror 11 from the movie "12 Angry Men"
"If you want to vote not guilty, then do it because you're convinced the man is not guilty - not because you've had enough. And if you think he's guilty, then vote that way, or don't you have the GUTS to do what you think is RIGHT?!?" -Juror 11 from the movie "12 Angry Men"

If you want a fair trial, and a group of people to determine your fate, then if summoned for 10-21-18-25 duty, don’t be late!
Power of the purse, only Congress can provide for our services and disperse, but they can only spend, if they 20-1-24 you my friend.
The Preamble’s goal to make a more perfect union, 1-13-5-14-4-ment process allowed millions more to vote and freedom win!
I know I make a lot of lame jokes about your momma, but a President has to be a Natural Born Citizen like 15-2-1-13-1.
Civil disobedience is when you break an unjust law to 16-18-15-20-5-19-20. John Lewis sat at a lunch counter that said “whites only” and just wanted to be served like the rest. Being a good citizen means sacrifice for others to give them your best.
*(I got to visit the same Woolworth Lunch Counter in Nashville, Tennessee in 2018)
Now you can vote at 18, not 21, so you can get MORE!
But what about 3-15-21-18-20...are you equal there before??
But what about 3-15-21-18-20...are you equal there before??
Does a BOY get a FAIR trial too? They're hopping over the evidence so I'd be HOPPING mad if I were you! Just like a

11-1-14-7-1-18-15-15.
These guys are just haters, but don't regret or fret, the right to vote for this group was fought for by
19-21-6-6-18-5-7-5-20-20-5-19.
They assemble and march, wear white in protest and stay strong.
Only Amendment number ___________ (what goes in the blank?) can right this wrong.
Only Amendment number ___________ (what goes in the blank?) can right this wrong.
Remember that SPORT is a metaphor for LIFE. How you are on the field, the court, a rink, in a ring, etc…says something about who you are in real life. Are you a good teammate who works well with others to achieve a common goal? Or do you only care about yourself? Do you give your best effort and keep pushing even when it’s hard? Or do you quit and give up when things get tough? Kobe Bryant once said, “I can’t relate to lazy people. We don’t speak the same language. I don’t understand you. I don’t want to understand you.”
The NFL’s Superbowl trophy is named after Hall of Fame Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi. He once said, “If you chase PERFECTION, then you may just catch EXCELLENCE.” No one can be perfect, but it shouldn’t stop us from trying our best! In the process we can achieve amazing things. People are often inspired by the extraordinary things that athletes can do. It can motivate them to greatness; and not just physically. Kobe Bryant also once said, “The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do.” The endurance it takes to be an athlete is not just physical, but also MENTAL. It takes YEARS of training! That kind of discipline can be applied to any goal or career in life! (whether its related to sports or not) There are also MANY careers revolving around sports. Whether its sport medicine, personal trainer, sports broadcaster, coaching, sportswriter, sports management, or the athletes themselves. Don’t forget that athletes also have a large audience that LISTENS. An athlete can use their freedom of speech to influence the way others think or to take a stand against injustice. The most memorable athletes aren’t revered and remembered just because of how they were on the field, but instead for what they stood for in life. Jackie Robinson once said, “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” Remember that! Robinson was a veteran who served his country, and then was the first African American baseball player in the Major Leagues. He faced intense discrimination, racism and prejudice from fellow baseball players, fans, and people from all over the country who would even send death threats. He rose above it and was a model example of an exemplary human being with impeccable character. Imagine how he was able to inspire kids from minority backgrounds to show them they too could achieve anything they set their mind to. Imagine how he broke down racial stereotypes. He showed people that had only been taught and practiced hate that their stereotypes of minorities were wrong. He helped to slowly begin changing the hearts and minds of those who were prejudiced. If you want to be successful in anything, including sports, you have to have a strong work ethic and the right values in place. Former President Theodore Roosevelt once said, “In life, as in a football game, the principle to follow is: Never flinch. Never foul. Hit the line hard.” There it is simply said. Be consistent and follow the path of what is right…but also work HARD! Give it everything you have…. on the field…and off. |
These minorities were treated worse than the rest, in the 1968 Olympics they used their Freedom to 16-18-15-20-5-19-20.

In 1968 the athletes above STOOD tall, so racism and discrimination against minorities would fall. 50 years later, this athlete takes a KNEE, so that millions of American will see. This athlete had a lot of reach, on National TV using his freedom of 19-16-5-5-3-8.
He used his rights to fight so others could be EQUAL and free. Jackie Robinson was a hero, and did his Civic 4-21-20-25.
"We know what’s like to be beneath and not above. And that is what we went to work with every day. We knew that we could create a world that exemplified a world we wanted to see. We knew that we had something to give.” - RIP Chadwick Boseman, the actor who played Jackie Robinson in "42"

So they gather and march to use their freedom of 1-19-19-5-13-2-12-25.
Amendment 15 was supposed to give ALL races voting rights. But...because of 10th amendment the state makes election laws...so they still had to fight. More laws and amendments were passed, like the 24th which outlaws the 16-15-12-12 tax.
When this video came out it got lots of hype. Gun violence, hate crimes, police brutality, racism, and stereotypes. Gambino used free speech to criticize A LOT. But, if THIS WASN'T AMERICA, then you might NOT! All of these things we still do see, because of the long term impact of 19-12-1-22-5-18-25.
The bookshelves. Lots of social science related goodies on the bottom shelf.
Covid-19 caused a lot of fear, 2020 was the year, we all had to wait and see, what decisions our governments made for

“Together let us explore the stars, conquer the deserts, eradicate disease, tap the ocean depths, and encourage the arts and commerce.” – from President John F. Kennedy’s Inaugural Address, 1961

The President negotiates, the Senate approves, The President told THIS General to sign a 20-18-5-1-20-25 that ended World War II.
Behind me stands a wall that encircles the free sectors of this city, part of a vast system of barriers that divides the entire continent of Europe… Standing before the Brandenburg Gate, every man is a German, separated from his fellow men. Every man is a Berliner, forced to look upon a scar... As long as this gate is closed, as long as this scar of a wall is permitted to stand, it is not the German question alone that remains open, but the question of freedom for all mankind… General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall! —Ronald Reagan, address at the Brandenburg Gate, June 12, 1987 |
